Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program in Fort Dodge, IA. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist supervisor to deliver rehabilitative treatments and assist with patient progress in a post-acute care setting.

We welcome new graduates and provide a supportive team environment with a values-driven culture. This PRN role offers flexible hours to support patient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• New grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use under supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Dodge, IA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
