Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, IA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will provide rehabilitative treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and apply evidence-based techniques to improve patient outcomes.

New grads are welcome and you will be part of a values-driven team offering CAPLICO principles in daily care. This PRN role supports long-term and post-acute geriatric rehabilitation in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• PTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities and device use under supervision.
• Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Offer consultation to patients, families, caregivers and other providers regarding physical disorders.

Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, IA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
