Rehabilitation of Des Moines, a Des Moines, IA in-house rehab program, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our geriatric and post-acute therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Join a stable in-house therapy team and participate in evidence-based interventions, patient education, and collaboration with the supervising PT to adjust treatments per regulatory standards. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities within Ensign Services.

Rehabilitation of Des Moines in Des Moines, IA, i s a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
