Position Summary

In this full‑time position, you will assist a Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients at our Port Charlotte, FL clinic. Your responsibilities include hands‑on care, exercise instruction, documentation, and patient education.

Base Pay

$26.00/hr – $35.00/hr (up to $2,500 sign‑on bonus available)

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine abilities and limitations
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and isokinetic programs
• Observe patients during treatments and report observations to the Physical Therapist
• Communicate with staff and other health team members to discuss and coordinate treatment programs

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• HIPAA knowledge
• Outpatient PTA experience
