Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist patient recovery across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care and community settings. You will work closely with a Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary teams to deliver hands-on rehabilitation and improve mobility and independence.

Qualifications

  • Less than one year of physical therapy experience required.
  • Foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles and data interpretation under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient treatment using therapeutic interventions to support recovery of physical function.
  • Collaborate with a Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Support discharge planning by working toward goals from evaluation and throughout the episode of care.
  • Advocate for patients to ensure access to appropriate care, services, and resources.
  • Deliver care across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care and community settings.
  • Promote patient and caregiver independence by connecting them with resources.
