Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on our team, you’ll play a vital, hands‑on role in helping patients recover strength, mobility, and independence. This is a highly collaborative and rewarding opportunity to work closely with a Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team, build your clinical skills, and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives every day. Provides patient treatment using a variety of therapeutic interventions to support recovery of physical function and management of developmental conditions. Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to deliver age‑appropriate, effective care. Supports the development and implementation of comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs. Promotes patient and caregiver independence by connecting them with appropriate resources and support services. Collaborates and communicates effectively with interdisciplinary care teams involved in patient treatment. Supports discharge planning by working toward goals established at evaluation and throughout the episode of care. Advocates for patients to ensure access to appropriate care, services, and resources. Provides care across multiple settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long‑term care, and community‑based environments Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Certificate Physical Therapy Assistant Requires detailed knowledge of physical therapy in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done, this level includes interpretation of data. Basic computer skills required. Basic understanding of the rules and regulations of the specific setting
