NovaCare Rehabilitation in Clarksville, MD is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for full-time outpatient orthopedic care, including sports medicine, vestibular, concussion, and neurology services.

This full-time position offers a 32-40 hour work week with $29.00-$38.00 per hour, a sign-on bonus up to $3,000, and indefinite student loan help. Maryland license required to start; mentorship and growth opportunities available within our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state law.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients and caregivers per policy and best practices.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to strengthen client relations.

This full-time River Hill position is ideal for a Maryland-licensed PTA with at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience. However, we will consider new graduate physical therapist assistants. We offer on-site mentorship with our multidisciplinary team.

We treat a diverse orthopedic population, from teens to geriatrics, with specialty services including sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), neurology, vestibular, and concussion programs.

Schedule: Full-time (32- 40 hours), treating until 8:00 PM twice a week. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close. Early days begin at 7:00 A.M.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
