University of Rochester Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation OUTPATIENT Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position available!
Location: University of Rochester Medical Center, Clinton Crossings, Building D.
About the Role: We are not the traditional orthopedic/sports-centric outpatient PT office. Our patient population is diverse, including elderly and complex cases. We treat orthopedic, postoperative, and pain populations, as well as neurological disorders, with specialty programs such as pelvic floor, pediatrics, vestibular, brain injury, TMJ/orofacial pain, neurospine, and lymphedema. We also have residency programs in neurology and pediatrics.
Candidate Requirements: We require our therapists to be well-rounded clinicians capable of treating both orthopedic and neurological conditions. This environment is suitable for experienced clinicians and new graduates, offering exposure to a wide range of diagnoses to enhance clinical skills.
