Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation

Certificates and Licenses:

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist Assistant

Summary: Provide physical therapy and related services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Deliver quality patient care, including ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervising Rehab Techs when required, and managing cases. Uphold professional conduct reflecting Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service, adhering to all relevant regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under PT supervision, enhance patients' functional abilities and skills.
  • Develop and maintain a strong physical therapy program.
  • Improve clinical, professional, and management skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
  • Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed about industry issues.
  • Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and appropriate delivery methods to provide quality care within guidelines.
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking instructions, reports, and documentation.
