**Details**

+ Department: Physical Therapy

+ Schedule: Full-time DAY 40 hrs wkly M-F 8:00-4:30; will also consider alternatives including weekend day if desired by candidate.

+ Hospital: Ascension St. Agnes

+ Salary: $27.81-$38.76 per hour

**Responsibilities**

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

+ Provide physical therapy intervention under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.

+ Perform therapy intervention utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.

+ Document treatment intervention given.

+ May coordinate activities of physical therapy aide, student and other support personnel.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

+ Associate's degree from an accredited two year program as a physical therapy assistant required.
