Job summary

HTU is seeking a licensed or in-process Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team in Atlanta. You will provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and deliver high quality PT services in collaboration with centers and patients.

You should be a graduate from an accredited PTA program, have passed the CAPTE exam, hold a valid PTA license or be in process, and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Pass national PTA exam (CAPTE).
• Active license or license in process and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high quality PT services with limited supervision following policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, following physical therapy principles and Select Medical policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance client relations with centers and their staff.

About You

The company is looking for:

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license or license in process.
• CPR certification.
