Job summary

Select Medical in Anaheim, CA seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join a clinical team delivering orthopedic PT services to a diverse patient population. Work schedule is Monday through Friday at our outpatient center.

Compensation ranges from $30 to $35 per hour, based on experience, with a $10K sign-on bonus and ongoing student loan repayment assistance. Qualified candidates are licensed or in process, CPR certified, and have completed an accredited PTA program.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA with CA license or license in process
• CPR certification
• Passed CAPTE national examination
• Graduate from an accredited PTA program

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients in accordance with policy and procedures
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support client relations across centers

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
