Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team. You will provide compassionate care across sports medicine, orthopedics, neurological and vestibular rehab in a patient-focused environment.

Compensation is $35-$40/hour based on experience, with a $10K sign-on bonus and monthly student loan repayment assistance. A 1-year PTA experience and a current PTA license are required, with growth opportunities and a supportive team

Qualifications

• 1 year experience required
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs (CAPTE)
• Valid state PTA license or in the process
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with policy.
• Maintain positive interaction with centers and patients and expand client relations.
• Support PTA duties as a college graduate in an outpatient setting.
• Ensure compliance with Select Medical policies and procedures

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
