Virtuous Wellness Center in Maryland is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care under a licensed PT plan of care, progressing treatments and collaborating with support staff. You will manage a viable caseload, participate in workshops, and comply with regulations while pursuing professional education.

Formación

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland license to practice Physical Therapy in Maryland.
• Jurisprudence compliance.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care under the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Progress physical therapy treatments according to the plan of care.
• Direct and work closely with support staff for patient care needs.
• Manage caseload with effective time management and productivity.
• Participate in clinical workshops to develop departmental goals.
• Comply with governmental and accreditation regulations and pursue education.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver well-rounded care and referrals.
• Refer patients to other services and encourage referrals from family/friends.
• Build rapport with internal stakeholders to support the team.

• Prior PT Assistant Experience and Entry Levels are all welcome to apply.

• Participate in clinical workshops alongside other therapists to develop and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations and takes initiative in pursuing continuing education for professional growth.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve well-rounded care and cement relationships with our clients.
• Refer our other services to our patients and ask for family and friend referrals.
• Build rapport with internal stakeholders to support our great team.
