SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTIONS:

The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care and in compliance with the state Physical Therapy Practice Act. The therapist implements, with minimal supervision, quality physical therapy services, evaluates clients, develops initial and ongoing treatment plans, discharge plans, contributes to case management, and ensures high-quality patient care. The therapist adheres to applicable state regulations and refers or supervises treatment by physical therapist assistants (PTAs).
