Job summary

Riverview Health in Noblesville, IN seeks a Physical Therapist for the Acute Rehab Unit/Med Surg to plan, organize, and administer PT programs. You will restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability for patients with injuries or illnesses affecting movement and daily activities.

You will review prescriptions, perform assessments, implement treatment protocols, educate patients and families, and supervise staff while adhering to policies and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physical Therapy is required.
• Master or Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred.
• Indiana PT license eligibility is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions and records to determine PT treatment.
• Test and measure strength, motor development, and functional capacity.
• Implement evidence-based protocols and use therapy equipment.
• Evaluate progress, adjust plans, and write progress reports.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Discharge patients when goals are met and prepare discharge report.
• Supervise support personnel and students as appropriate.
• Comply with policies, attendance, and dress code.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
