Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to develop and administer PT programs for inpatients and outpatients across age groups.

You will provide patient education and collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver evidence-based care while upholding a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) must be held.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers physical therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients across age groups.
• Provides patient and family education and promotes quality customer service in interactions with patients and medical personnel.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.

Develops and administers physical therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

REQUIRED

1. Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
2. Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. Two (2) years of licensed clinical experience
