Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat inpatients and outpatients across age groups from neonate to geriatric, delivering evidence-based therapy according to clinical competency.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and participate in 8:00 AM–6:30 PM shifts with weekend requirements, while opportunities for professional growth and advancement are available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers physical therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

  • Two (2) years of licensed clinical experience
Work Hours:

8AM-6:30PM
