Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, with 2 ten-hour shifts on Mondays and Wednesdays and periodic weekend/holiday rotations. The role requires, at minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and Michigan licensure, with a Master’s degree preferred.

A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is offered. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing assessments, developing and adjusting a plan of care, applying standard physical therapy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Current State of Michigan Licensure- Physical Therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Job Description

Sign on Bonus: $2,500 sign on bonus

• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• BLS
• Current State of Michigan Licensure- Physical Therapy
• Prefer at least 3 years hospital-based experience, orthopedics and Acute therapy.
