A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Physical Therapist for acute care. The role involves administering tests, planning treatment programs, and requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Candidates should possess a Texas license and may benefit from clinical experience in various care settings.
This job involves the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. The Physical Therapist (PT) plans and modifies treatment programs for adult patients with clinical competency, as applicable.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred Education: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
Minimum Experience: No previous work experience necessary. After completing 3 full years, may be eligible for Physical Therapist Level II.
Preferred Experience: Clinical experience in outpatient and inpatient care, marketing, and business familiarity. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Licensure and Certifications: Current Texas State license required. New graduates must possess a license prior to orientation. All others must have a current license.
Certifications: Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (ARC or AHA). AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
