Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our therapy leadership team. You will perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients, while supervising patients and rehab staff in accordance with state practice acts.

We require a DPT/PT degree and current licensure in the practicing state, plus BLS certification before independent patient care.

Formación

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist; prefer experience with adult and geriatric patients.

Responsabilidades

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Conduct duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Tuition Reimbursement
Up to $2,000/year for continuing education

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
