Job summary

MAB Community Services in Westborough, MA seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support individuals in ABI/MFP Waiver programs, helping them gain greater independence and quality of life.

You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, tailor treatment plans, mentor staff, and contribute to program development, with flexible scheduling and on-site/field opportunities as described.

Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient, home care, rehabilitation, or community-based therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services focused on mobility, safety, functional independence, and quality of life.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on participant goals, needs, and interests.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, caregivers, service coordinators, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Select and adapt therapeutic activities to support physical and cognitive abilities.
  • Train and educate direct care staff to reinforce therapeutic goals and promote carryover.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications and assist with letters of medical necessity as appropriate.
  • Provide protocols and training for new or updated equipment in residential settings.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation and billing required for reimbursement.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and weekly supervision.
  • Mentor students and interns as assigned.
  • PTs may provide clinical guidance and mentorship to PTAs as appropriate.

MAB Community Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support individuals enrolled in our ABI/MFP Waiver Programs as they work toward greater independence and quality of life.
