Job summary

MAB Community Services in Westborough, MA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support individuals in ABI/MFP Waiver Programs, promoting independence and quality of life.

Under supervision, you will deliver mobility-focused therapy in homes, our Training & Rehabilitation Center, and community settings, adapting plans, educating staff, and collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient, home care, rehabilitation, or community-based therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services focused on mobility, safety, functional independence, and quality of life.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on participant goals, needs, and interests.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, caregivers, service coordinators, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Train direct care staff to reinforce therapeutic goals and promote carryover.
  • Provide protocols and training for new or updated equipment in residential settings.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation and billing required for reimbursement.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and weekly supervision.
  • Mentor students and interns as assigned.
