Job summary

Powerback Rehab, in partnership with Genesis Healthcare, is offering a full-time Physical Therapist opportunity at Casa Real Nursing. Eligible for a $20,000 bonus paid over two years, with potential for higher pay in lieu of benefits. Location: in facility, reporting to Director of Rehab.

You will assess patients, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy services, while collaborating with a team and teaching patients and caregivers to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license and eligibility.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor's + 5 years PT experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
• The PT degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy.
• Provide PT services and therapy to help patients get well.
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and refer to others as needed for patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
