Rehab Associates, a well-established outpatient physical therapy network in Central Virginia, seeks a Doctor of Physical Therapy to assess patients, design individualized plans, and deliver hands-on care in a growing clinic system.

You will work with a supportive team, utilize EMR tools, and participate in ongoing education and mentorship, with competitive compensation and growth opportunities. Expect a collaborative, patient-centered practice environment.

Qualifications

• DPT degree and Virginia license or eligibility
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic care and vestibular rehab preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Review referrals and patient records to determine required PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care per established protocols.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee assistants and rehab technicians in care delivery.
• Develop goals and a comprehensive plan of care.
• Implement treatment programs and essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely daily notes and discharge summaries.

• Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review the Physician's referral (Prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
• Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
• Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals.
• Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments.
• Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy program.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one before employment.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Experience or interest in outpatient orthopedic care, including balance and vestibular rehabilitation.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans in an outpatient setting.
• Comfortable working independently while effectively managing a diverse patient caseload.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient education skills.
• Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
