Job summary

AdvantageCare Rehabilitation in McKeesport, PA is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time role with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited by APTA or CAPTE.
• Hold a valid State Physical Therapy License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and mobility.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals.
• Utilize therapies such as exercises, manual therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families regarding treatment plans and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on the therapeutic process and home exercise programs.
• Provide support to enhance motivation and therapy adherence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and discharge planning.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of care.
