Job summary

Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice provider, seeks a Physical Therapist in South Carolina to help patients move, regain function and heal at home.

You will deliver therapies, conduct 30-day reexaminations, adjust plans and discharge patients when appropriate, while maintaining close, one-on-one care in patients' homes. Competitive pay and a $10K sign-on bonus accompany a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state you are assigned
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PT program
• One year related physical therapy experience for home health care
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders plus mentoring
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.


• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).


• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.


• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.


• Current CPR certification.
