Job summary

Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, Virginia is seeking a caring Physical Therapist who is licensed in Virginia or actively pursuing licensure. Join our experienced rehabilitation team delivering PT services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym to help residents regain independence and return home to family and friends.

The PT evaluates residents, develops treatment plans, gains physician approval, treats per the plan, participates in discharge planning, and documents care.

Qualifications

• Virginia Physical Therapy License is required or actively pursuing licensure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops treatment plans.
• Obtains approval for services from the referring physician.
• Treats residents according to the physician's plan and participates in discharge planning.
• Records evaluation, treatment, and charges; supervises PTAs and aides.
• Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.
