Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Woodcliff Lake, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time position. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the rehab team to advance patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State PT license/registration required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Educates patients and caregivers and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Collaborates with rehab team and contributes to departmental initiatives.
• Supports professional growth and program improvement within the department.
• Performs additional duties related to care and therapy service design.

Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours weeklyCompensation: $86,000-$110,000 annually depending on years of experience

** Up to a $15,000 sign on bonus **

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
