Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in East Brunswick, NJ is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, 40-hour workweek with a salary range of $86,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and a student debt benefit program plus annual bonus plan are available.

Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited PT program with NJ license/registration; outpatient ortho experience is preferred, new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level/new grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops/ progresses treatment plans.
• Educates patients and caregivers and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Communicates effectively with rehab team members.
• Contributes to department initiatives and professional growth.
• Participates in program delivery and related duties.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
