Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge is seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions from disease or injury.

The role involves supervising team members, providing age-appropriate education to patients and caregivers, and developing formal care plans. Licensure in the state is required, with a Bachelor's as a minimum and a Doctorate preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Experience providing therapeutic modalities per current standards.
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers effectively.
• Initiate and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Supervise and be responsible for care provided by designated team members.
• Provide age-appropriate education to clients and caregivers.
• Establish and update formal plan of care for each patient.
