Ancora Home Health & Hospice in Wasilla, AK is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our Therapy Team. You will provide PT treatment, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

This full-time role offers a weekday schedule, a $7,000 signing bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 22 PTO days, and a 401(k) with company matching. Applicants must hold Alaska PT license and meet additional requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy License in Alaska.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• CPR certification and TB test (assistance available).
• Fingerprint clearance card (assistance available).

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient function, strength, and endurance.
• Routinely assess and update care plans to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants and Technicians.
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with the care team to support patient needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of observations and treatment progress.

Your Role as a Physical Therapist

As part of the Ancora Therapy Team, you will:

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapy License in the state of Alaska
• 2+ years of experience (preferred)
• Strong communication & time management skills
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Proof of current auto insurance & vehicle registration
• Fingerprint clearance card (we can assist with obtaining one)
• CPR certification & negative TB test (we can help with these as well)
