Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Waldorf, Maryland is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedics. You will treat a diverse population from teens to geriatrics with a typical caseload of 10–12 patients per day, including 60-minute evaluations and 45-minute treatments.

The schedule is 40 hours per week with two evenings until 7:00 PM. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and ongoing student loan help are included, along with a comprehensive benefits package and professional growth

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
• Complete and maintain all required training and comply with regulations
• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family and payors
• Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager

We seek a full-time physical therapist with experience in outpatient orthopedics.

You will treat a diverse population, including teens through geriatrics, and provide orthopedic, vestibular, aquatics, and oncology rehabilitation. Average caseload is 10–12 patients per day, with 60-minute evaluations and 45-minute treatments. Leadership training is available for experienced clinicians.

Schedule: 40-hour weekday schedule, including two evenings until 7:00 PM, with the last patient scheduled one hour before closing.
