Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to individuals seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting their mobility and physical well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer and supervise therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to improve patients' mobility and strength.
- Utilize a variety of modalities and equipment effectively to support patients' rehabilitation goals.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on exercise routines, proper body mechanics, and strategies for preventing future injuries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and comply with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, with records completed within 48 hours of patient visits.
- Travel to multiple clinics as needed.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a physical therapist.
- Proven experience in conducting evaluations and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in physical therapy practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail, flexibility, and focus are essential.
- Ability to multi-task in an environment with frequent interactions and interruptions.
