Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico seeks a physical therapist to evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. You will develop individualized plans of care, coordinate discharges, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the care team to advocate for patient needs.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy; Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Less than one year experience in Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.

• Evaluate and treat patients to improve physical function and independence.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate discharge goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers and connect them with support resources.
• Collaborate with care teams and advocate for patient needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care and follow applicable regulations.
• Apply clinical knowledge, sound judgment, and basic computer skills.
• Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
