Stern at Home Therapy is hiring part-time Physical Therapists (PTs) to deliver one-on-one home health care in the Stamford, Connecticut area. Therapists will evaluate and treat predominantly geriatric patients in patients' homes, with flexible part-time W-2 and 1099 options to fit your schedule.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, delivering individualized treatments, documenting care, and coordinating with families and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Therapist (PT) – Home Health | Stamford, CT | Part-Time.

Stern at Home Therapy is hiring Physical Therapists (PTs) to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes throughout the Stamford, Connecticut area.

We offer part-time W-2 and part-time 1099 contractor options, so you can build a role that fits your goals.

Part-time Physical Therapists are paid per visit and per evaluation, as outlined below.

Treat one patient at a time, manage your availability, and provide individualized care without the double-booking, productivity quotas, and clinic burnout common in traditional outpatient settings.

What You'll Do:

• As a Physical Therapist with Stern at Home Therapy, you will evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric patient population in their homes throughout the Stamford, Connecticut area.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide one-on-one treatments based on each patient's functional needs and goals.
• Manage individualized treatment plans with clinical autonomy.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall function.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and members of the clinical team.
• Coordinate with our administrative team regarding scheduling, patient care, and logistics.
• Manage your caseload based on your availability and employment structure.

Compensation:

• Part-Time W-2: $55–$65 per visit, based on experience. | $75 per evaluation.
• Part-Time 1099: $72 per follow-up visit. | $85 per evaluation.
