Job summary

Integrated Rehabilitation Services in Connecticut is seeking qualified Physical Therapists to join a team delivering personalized care.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with physicians and insurers. A Connecticut license and CPR certification are required; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum.
• Current state of Connecticut license, CPR certification.
• Outgoing and energetic personality; ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review physician referral and patient records to determine required physical therapy.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care and develop goals and a comprehensive program.
• Implement treatment programs and provide essential therapy.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation (daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, etc.).

Job Description

At Integrated Rehabilitation Services, we are always ready to speak with qualified Physical Therapists eager to join a team dedicated to providing our patients with the very best personalized care.

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum
• Experienced therapists are preferred, but new/recent graduates are welcome to apply as well.
• Current state of Connecticut license, CPR certification
• Outgoing and energetic personality
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinic.
• Possess a passion for using evidenced-based manual therapy interventions
• Be eager to grow professionally within an organization

Additional Information

Company Perks

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 -$100,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
