Job summary

Rosewood Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team in Reno, NV. You will contribute to Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory recovery programs while delivering patient-centered care.

Open to PTAs at all experience levels. The role offers opportunities for training and continuing education and a supportive work environment focused on compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Rosewood Rehabilitation Center is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. As part of this amazing team of clinicians, you will have opportunities for training and continuing education in Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory recovery programs

Duties

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
