Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a full-time, day shift position. You will assess patients' mobility, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and assist post-surgical rehab to restore function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate in Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical Therapy license.

Responsibilities

• Assessing Patients: Evaluate a patient's mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional limitations
• Creating Treatment Plans: Develop individualized therapy plans to improve movement and function based on the patient’s condition and goals
• Post-Surgical Rehabilitation: Assist patients in regaining function after surgery (e.g., joint replacements, cardiac procedures)
• Pain Management: Use techniques such as manual therapy, positioning, and guided movement to reduce pain and improve comfort
• Patient & Family Education: Teach patients and caregivers how to perform exercises, use assistive devices (like walkers), and follow safety practices at home

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
• Current Physical Therapy license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
