Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our pediatric team on Long Island, NY. You will provide therapy services and evaluations to children birth to 21 in homes, clinics, and community settings, helping families implement effective strategies.

We offer flexible schedules, supportive supervision, and access to paperless billing and data collection systems. Travel to assigned cases is required, with a culture of collaboration and ethics guiding care.

Qualifications

• NYS Licensed Physical Therapist.
• 1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth-21 years in a natural setting.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.

Requirements For a Physical Therapist

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• NYS Licensed Physical Therapist

• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate

Evaluations $130.00 - $250.00/ hourly$60.00-$70.00

Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the Physical Therapist Job interview process.
