Job summary

Partnersped in Pasadena is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to support students. You will collaborate on IEPs/IFSPs, assess motor skills, and provide therapeutic planning and documentation. Experience in school-based PT and interdisciplinary teamwork is preferred.

The role involves evaluating treatment effects, recommending device adjustments, and participating in IEP meetings with families as required. CA licensure and CAPTE-accredited degree are expected.

Qualifications

  • PT degree from a CAPTE-accredited program and state licensure.
  • Five years of PT experience preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate on interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the development of IEPs and IFSPs.
  • Recommend accommodations and modifications tailored to student needs.
  • Serve on interdisciplinary teams evaluating students with gross/fine motor issues and mobility needs.
  • Review student records, organize information, and determine assessment battery.
  • Observe students, assess movements, write reports, and suggest treatments.
  • Participate in IEP meetings with students and parents as needed.
  • Evaluate effects of PT treatments and adjust prosthetic/orthotic devices as needed.
