Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient/orthopedic team in Florida. You will evaluate and treat patients, developing personalized plans to improve mobility and function.

The position is full-time, 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday with no weekend rotation. Collaboration with physicians, OT and SLP teams, and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state PT license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical outpatient/orthopedic experience.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of patients' physical abilities (ROM, strength, balance, function).
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Utilize exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and function.
• Monitor/ document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home care techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, OTs, and SLPs for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Stay current with advancements through continuing education.

Salary Range: $39.2 - $41.78 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, no weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional abilities
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to help patients improve mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques to promote continued progress and independence
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current with advancements in the field of physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state PT license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an outpatient or orthopedic setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
