Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to implement individualized therapy programs across acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings. You will supervise therapy staff and coordinate with other clinical services to optimize patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes delivering patient-centered care, educating families and students, and adapting treatment plans to each patient’s needs. We value teamwork and leadership in a high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current State professional license or license eligible.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; diagnostic skills consistent with professional degree.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Word processing skills preferred.
• BCLS – American Heart Assoc. certification.
• New grads accepted.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Physical Therapist carries out individualized therapy programs including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. The PT supervises therapy assistants, aides and students. • You will deliver care and modify the care plan in accordance with the patient’s needs.


• You will serve as an educator to patients, families, students and colleagues.

What Qualification You Will Need

• Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy / Master’s degree preferred.


• Current State professional license or license eligible.

• Basic Cardiac Life Saving (BCLS) – American Heart Assoc.
