Job summary

Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will assess residents, design personalized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress accurately, and adapt care plans to residents’ evolving needs, contributing to high-quality geriatric care in our community.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in PA.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for geriatric care.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based PT interventions tailored to each resident’s needs and goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and their families.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
