Overview

As our Physical Therapist at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital, you’ll help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing following illness, injury, or aging issues. Using various treatments, you will help reduce pain, build strength and endurance, increase range of motion, or develop better balance to keep them functioning at their best.

You’ll see patients daily for evaluations and treatments, working with backgrounds such as orthopedic recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or balance issues. This environment is busy but collaborative, with team members ready to support and mentor you.

To thrive, you must be a team player, collaborating with other therapists, patients, and families to achieve the best outcomes. Be personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care daily.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations to track progress
• Document treatments and patient status changes
• Customize treatments creatively for individual patients
• Seek learning opportunities and share knowledge with colleagues
• Provide the best possible care to every patient

Qualifications

Required Licensure and Certification: Active physical therapy license in Nebraska. BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
