Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop goals-based treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy. You’ll collaborate with a care team to ensure safe discharge and necessary equipment needs are addressed while engaging with patients, families and staff to uphold a caring, professional image.

Required licenses include Washington PT license and BLS through the American Heart Association, with preferred pediatrics,

Qualifications

  • D.P.T.: Physical Therapy required
  • Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Description

The Physical Therapist, as directed by a health care practitioner, performs PT evaluations, establishes treatment plans with goals, provides treatment, delegates specific treatments, determines appropriate equipment needs and performs discharge activities. They must interact with patients, families and staff in a manner that portrays a positive image for the department.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Physical Therapy, Or
  • Master's Degree: Physical Therapy, Or
  • D.P.T.: Physical Therapy
  • Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 months experience in either pediatrics, acute, orthopedics, neuro or lymphedema

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $48.25 - $76.16
