Principal Responsibilities:
Perform treatments and exercises to help patients recover from illnesses and injuries
Develop personalized treatment plans using various treatment techniques
Prescribe medications to relieve pain and increase mobility
Teach patients exercise techniques to improve their health
Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms
Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans
Coach patients and teach them therapeutic massage techniques
Maintain patient records and utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
Evaluate treatment outcomes and make referrals as necessary
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
Requirements:
Active Massachusetts State Licensure
1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
Ability to supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students
Adherence to Company required policy and procedures and code of conduct
