Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Norwood, MA is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation services team in a full-time role. You will perform treatments, develop plans, supervise assistants, and collaborate with families and providers to improve mobility and recovery. Massachusetts licensure and at least one year of PT experience are required.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $50–$65, flexible schedule, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts State Licensure required.
• 1 year of PT experience required.
• Supervision of PTAs, rehab aides, and/or students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments and exercises to help patients recover from illnesses and injuries.
• Develop personalized treatment plans using various treatment techniques.
• Prescribe medications to relieve pain and increase mobility.
• Teach patients exercise techniques to improve their health.
• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coach patients and teach them therapeutic massage techniques.
• Maintain patient records and utilize assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and make referrals as necessary.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
