Job summary

Compass Government Solutions seeks a experienced Physical Therapist to support the OHWS program at Eielson AFB, AK. The role focuses on flight-related MSK care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization for aircrew operating in high-G conditions.

The incumbent will perform MSK evaluations, develop individualized plans, educate on ergonomics, and ensure compliance with DHA/DoD protocols while maintaining readiness and mission effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of PT experience in high-performance/military environments.
  • CPR and AED certification required (AHA or ARC).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct MSK evaluations and interventions.
  • Design, implement and monitor injury prevention and rehab programs.
  • Order imaging, labs, and consultations as needed.
  • Document care in approved electronic systems.
  • Educate aircrew and leadership on injury prevention and recovery.
  • Comply with DHA/DoD/MTF protocols.

Education LevelDoctoral Degree## DescriptionCompass Government Solutions is seeking an experienced **Physical Therapist** to provide services to **Optimize the Human Weapon System (OHWS)** program at **Eielson AFB, AK**.As a key member of the Optimizing the Human Weapon System (OHWS) program, the **Physical Therapist** plays a critical role in sustaining the health, readiness, and performance of U.S. Air Force fighter aircrew. Embedded within operational squadrons, the PT addresses flight-related musculoskeletal injuries—particularly neck and back pain caused by high-G environments—and develops individualized injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization plans. By providing direct care, ergonomic education, and recovery strategies, the PT helps mitigate mission-impacting injuries, reduces downtime, and enhances aircrew longevity.
