Job summary

Compass Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to support the OHWS program at Eielson AFB, AK. The PT focuses on flight-related MSK issues, develops injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance plans for aircrew in a demanding aerospace environment.

Role includes assessments, program design, education for leadership, and adherence to DHA/DoD protocols. Must hold CAPTE-accredited PT degree, 5+ years of high-performance experience, and U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in collegiate, professional, Olympic, tactical (military), aerospace or similar high-performance environments.
  • Current CPR and AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • At least one of the following advanced certifications/training: ABPTS OCS or SCS; Orthopedic or Sports residency/fellowship; Advanced Dry Needling Certification (Level 2) with Orthopedic Manual Therapy certification.

Responsibilities

  • MSK Evaluations and Interventions.
  • Design, implement, and monitor injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
  • Order imaging, labs, and specialist consultations as needed.
  • Documentation of work performed in approved electronic record systems.
  • Educate Aircrew and leadership on injury prevention, ergonomics, and recovery strategies.
  • Comply with all DHA, DoD, and MTF protocols.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Compass Government Solutions is seeking an experiencedPhysical Therapist to provide services toOptimize the Human Weapon System (OHWS) program at Eielson AFB, AK.

As a key member of the Optimizing the Human Weapon System (OHWS) program, thePhysical Therapist plays a critical role in sustaining the health, readiness, and performance of U.S. Air Force fighter aircrew. Embedded within operational squadrons, the PT addresses flight-related musculoskeletal injuries—particularly neck and back pain caused by high-G environments—and develops individualized injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization plans. By providing direct care, ergonomic education, and recovery strategies, the PT helps mitigate mission-impacting injuries, reduces downtime, and enhances aircrew longevity. This role is essential to ensuring that pilots remain physically capable of meeting the intense demands of aerial combat and mission execution.

Job Duties:
